Oh, and about the BP oil spill. Couldn’t all of this have been avoided had they just drilled a relief well before it was needed? Why is that not standard practice? Rather than argue about renaming the MMS or a moratorium on off-shore drilling, let’s just require two wells for every offshore drilling site —- one for pumping oil and the other for stopping spills. Drill baby drill.
